4 Top FREE Online Editors That Will TRANSFORM Your Writing — 100 Followers in 30 Days (Medium)
Results in a matter of weeks — I put all my work through these editors
After thought and research, I agree with ‘people remember the content, not the creator’. So when we aim to excel in the field of writing, we must make our content SHINE. Productivity and quantity are NOT ways to increase our audience. I am not by any means suggesting we use AI to replace our content creation . No, we must utilise the free tools out there to make our masterpieces sell!
That is why I am providing you with 4 free editing tools that I actually use (no this is not a fake).
Hemingway
I remember hearing about Hemingway on the Internet. I never bothered to check it out before recently. Don’t underestimate its power in growing your audience and improving your content 🦾
Hemingway is a gratis editing app which emhasizes problems in your writing. I’m ranking it on an 8/10 scale. Although Hemingway can’t fix your writing , it CAN help you identify issues.
Hemingway has been of enormous help for me to reach 100 followers.
Formats text
Colour codes and highlights issues with sentences
Gives prompts to fix issues
Word/Sentence/Character/Reading Time Count
Readability Scale
Free on the web (download not required)
So far I have had nothing but congenial experiences with Hemingway. It reminds me when I’ve gone overboard with vocabulary choices. Or made an accidental use of passive voice.
Typely
I admit mentioning Typely before, in my first decent article: Unlocking Your Writing Potential: Five Essential Resources For Writers
Now I have explored the tool more, it is all the more worthy of mentioning in my blogs.
I rate Typely 9/10. Here are some of my favourite features:
Automatic issue detector and pdf report
Stats showing grade/vocab/sentiment/reading time/reading ease
Pomodoro timer
Dark Mode (and highly effective soothing typewriter sounds)
Rain/Thunder/Fire/Lounge chill sound effects
Only problem is that, once again, you need to make manual changes.

Power Thesaurus
Looking for a world class Thesaurus? That combines the improvement of longer phrases and simple words?
I remember using Merriam Webster, but I was let down when it didn’t allow me to translate phrases.
That’s before I found Power Thesaurus.
You may concede this as an editing tool, but it helped in improving my writing style and vocabulary. It made my writing more formal and acceptable.
Power Thesaurus really is powerful 😂
Guys, before you all go, how about a BONUS?
